To those who read Notes from the Fatosphere

Here’s a message from the new admin of Notes from the Fatosphere, Ang x:

On 30th June, Google Reader will cease to exist. The Fatosphere feed has been moved to Feedly. Until the beginning of July, readers will be able to access NFTF via either Google Reader or Feedly, but from July 1st, you will need a Feedly account to continue to receive the feed.

All you need to do is go to Feedly.com, sign in with your google reader email and password, and follow the instructions to migrate your account from GR to Feedly.

If you don’t currently get the NFTF feed and want to do so, you can sign up for a new Feedly account. You will need either a gmail address, or a Google account for this. Then, once your account is set up, just type ‘notes from the fatosphere’ into the add content box and you’re done.

  1. I am very confused by this whole google reader thing. I get to notes from the fatosphere by googling it then clicking the feed link. I have never had to sign up for anything. Do i have to sign up to continue reading?

  2. Well, I guess Notes from the Fatosphere is dead. Maybe it’s a positive for me as I’ve decided that all of this fat acceptance stuff is bad science. You see, I used to read Notes daily and it seemed like there were just so many resources saying that no matter what I try, I am not going to be able to change my body, not going to ever get the respect and acceptance that come with being thin. Now that Notes is gone, I can’t find any such resource. I’ve searched, but there just isn’t anything out there. This site, for instance, has been dormant for ages. So I’m giving the dieting thing another go and the more distance I put between myself and Notes from the Fatosphere, the more confidence I’ve built that I’m going to be able to do it this time! So, I guess, thanks!
