March 16, 2016: “Active commuting” (walking, cycling or a combination of the two) is associated with lower BMI and body fat for 40-69 year old men and women in the UK. Unanswered is which came first, the size or the commuting method.

March 17, 2106: After a classmate created a Twitter account called “Dee is a Fat Whale”, Texan teen Dannie “Dee” McMillan, with encouragement from plus-size model Laura Lee, started raising money for the Save the Whales Foundation with a GoFundMe account and a shirt saying, “Dee the Fat Whale Saves the Whales”.
